Configure Export Attributes

This screen is displayed when exporting object data using the Text Wizard. It comprises two main parts:

• Availablelist: represents the contents of the file to be exported. You can move items from this list to the Actual list using the --> button.
  The minimum required fields, if found, will already have been moved across to the Actual list.

• Actuallist: contains the data columns that will be written to the external text file. Mandatory fields will already be present, if a match was  found with the selected data object's database table columns.

Activity steps

1. To export an attribute in the loaded object to an external text file:
   1. Select an attribute in the Available list.
   2. Select the right-facing arrow button to transfer the attribute to the Actual list.
2. To remove attributes to be exported:
   1. Select an attribute in the Actual list.
   2. Select the left-facing arrow button to transfer the attribute to the Available list. The selected attribute(s) will not be exported.
3. To change the order an attribute will appear in the exported file:
   1. Select an attribute in the Actual list.
   2. Use the Up and Down buttons to reposition the attribute.

   Note: Attributes at the top of the list will appear on the left of each data row. Lower attributes will be positioned to the right.
